Hollow Earth Expedition™ to be Published in France
Seattle, Washington, April 10, 2009 - Edition Sans-Détour, a French roleplaying (RPG) game publisher, is publishing a French language edition of Exile Game Studio’s award-winning RPG, Hollow Earth Expedition.
“Two authors from Sans Détour are true fans of [the] pulp universe.” stated Piotr Borowski of Edition Sans Détour. “When we discovered Hollow Earth Expedition, they recommended we publish the game so that our fans can more deeply explore the 20s and 30s pulp RPG genre.”
The first translation will hit shelves in April 2009. Subsequent releases of source books will follow later in the year.
"This is the kind of universe where anything can happen.” Borowski continued. “The time period where these adventures are set is a genre very much enjoyed by the French. Also, during the 30s, the world was upset by a global crisis. Pulp fiction and the new frontiers of science and exploration provided an escape from these everyday realities. One might say that this holds true even in today’s turbulent world.”
